Gemini is a bubbly Atlantean who lives most of her life sheltered at sea until an accident causes her ship to sink.Now landlocked, she is determined to start a new life, but is unwilling to take the responsibility that comes with it.
Her immaturity and devil-may-care attitude often finds her in a lot of trouble as she struggles to make it on her

Here are the Gemini poses I finished for our pitch, working title The Taffetas. I feel like these took forever, because I worked on them with what time and energy I found during family/friend visits, side project drama, losing my old car, buying a new car, and long hours at work. Not that I’m trying to excuse my frustrating slowness, but it’s hard being on your own out of college is all that I’m saying.
I do think I spent too long cleaning up the drawings themselves and I’m going to be more conscious of that with Veil and the other characters who are next. I really want Yesenia and I to find a unique rendering style with our show that isn’t quite so much of my usual ‘cartoonime’ stuff, and I feel that finalizing this much gives the impression that this is our style. I need to really sit down and just allow myself to experiment and find something different than relying on what I already know. I guess I’ve been too expectant of my best buddy and creative goddess Yesenia to bring in that final rendering style for us and I know that isn’t fair.
These are concept, btw, not production turnarounds/character sheets or what have you! I hope everyone likes these.
